Dutch Jumbo-Visma rider Olav Kooij won a bunch sprint on stage four at the Tour of Poland on Tuesday as Slovenian Matej Mohoric retained the overall lead.
For Kooij it was an eighth win of the season after other triumphs at Paris-Nice and the Four Days of Dunkirk as he edged Marijn van den Berg and Matteo Moschetti.
The 199km run from Strzelin to Opole was a largely flat affair ahead of Wednesday's hilly run from Pszczyna to Bielsko-Biala.
Mohoric of Bahrain-Victorious leads Joao Almeida by 10 seconds, with Rafal Majka also on the same time. Michal Kwiatkowski is fourth at 12sec and Eddie Dunbar rounds out the top five at 20sec.
Jumbo-Visma's Olav Kooij won the 4th stage of @Tour_de_Pologne in Opole (much) ahead of Van den Berg and Moschetti, no contest. ?? 21 years old and already 22 pro victories, not too bad... #TdP2023
