Norwegian Tour de France cyclists showed their support for the country's footballers ahead of their World Cup quarterfinal clash with England on Saturday.
The seven remaining members of the Uno-X Mobility team at the Tour de France – two of whom are Danish – donned their national team's football jerseys ahead of Saturday's eighth stage from Perigueux to Bergerac in the Dordogne region.
They then performed a rendition of the Viking row popularised by the country's football fans at the World Cup to cheers form the crowd in Perigueux.
And having been boosted by their Norwegian teammate Torstein Traeen wearing the coveted race leader's yellow jersey for two days at the Tour before he crashed out of the race with a concussion and broken ribs, the cyclists are backing the footballers to keep their own dream alive.
"It's crazy. What the Norwegian team has done so far is amazing," Jonas Abrahamsen, who won a stage at the Tour last year, told AFP.
"Everything now is a bonus but hopefully they can go to the final.
"Everything is possible."

Tobias Johannessen, who finished sixth in the Tour last year but is down in 13th this time after struggling in the Pyrenees two days ago, said that he was looking forward to the Tour's rest day on Monday.
And there is one way that it could be even better.
"I think if we could go into the first rest day still being in the World Cup, that would be the perfect scenario," he said.
"So, the spirits are high for Norway now."
