Former Mamelodi Sundowns great Hlompho Kekana has decided to hang his boots at the age of 37.
The former Downs captain walks away from the game after over 400 PSL games that include eight league titles, two Telkom Knockouts, two Nedbank Cup titles, the CAF Super Cup, and of course the CAF Champions League title in 2016.
Kekana ultimately left Chloorkop as the club’s most decorated captain,
Kekana started his professional career with Black Leopards, before making a move to join SuperSport United. He then had a brief spell at Bloemfontein Celtic before making the big move to Chloorkop.
He was named captain of Sundowns in 2016 after the departure of Ramahlwe Mphahlele to Kaizer Chiefs.
Kekana says he will now focus on his job as an analyst
