TS Galaxy will aim to keep their momentum going in the DStv Premiership when they host Cape Town City at the Mbombela Stadium on Saturday.
Kick-off is at 8pm CAT (SA, GMT+2)
Sead Ramovic's side have yet to taste defeat in the new season and find themselves fifth in the standings after collecting nine points from their opening five matches.
The Rockets will be seeking their first win in three games, however, following back-to-back goalless draws against Golden Arrows and Chippa United most recently.
Galaxy produced the shock of the campaign thus far when they beat defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns 1-0 in Pretoria on matchday 2 and followed it up with a 2-0 victory over SuperSport United.
Ramovic anticipates a tough encounter against the possession-based Citizens, but is confident that his players will be able to convert any chances that come their way this weekend.
"Cape Town City is a well-organised team based on possession play so it will be a really difficult game because I know they are a really tough team to play against," the German said.
"They also have a great coach so we have to be at our best and try to control the ball to have the ability to play as a team, the ability to score after some opportunities that we get and I'm sure we will get these kinds of opportunities."
City breathed a collective sigh of relief after they finally recorded their first win of the campaign last week when they defeated Kaizer Chiefs 2-0 in the Mother City.
Eric Tinkler's team are now unbeaten in their last three league outings, having drawn with Maritzburg United (0-0) and Stellenbosch (1-1) following three successive defeats in the opening three rounds.
However, they crashed out of the MTN8 at the weekend after going down 2-1 to AmaZulu in the quarterfinals and Tinkler acknowledges they need to improve at both ends of the pitch to start challenging further up the table.
"When you don't take your chances you get punished," he said after the cup-tie. "The goal we conceded very early in the game (came from) poor defensive errors and then you end up chasing the game.
"In the first half we created opportunities that we needed to put in the net and we didn't do that. We needed to be a little bit more patient on the ball, rotate it a little bit more."
PLAYERS TO WATCH
TS Galaxy
Bathusi Aubaas: The 27-year-old midfielder, who was named man of the match against Sundowns, put in another dominant display last time out and even had a sight at goal in the first half, but failed to keep his shot down as Chippa goalkeeper Sipho Chaine watched the ball sail over the crossbar.
Matlala Makgalwa: The 25-year-old midfielder will be pushing for his first start of the season after a promising display off the bench against the Chilli Boys. He was presented with two late chances to claim all three points, but wasn't able to take either of them in his second appearance.
Cape Town City
Khanyisa Mayo: The 24-year-old forward was one of those guilty of wastefulness against AmaZulu in the MTN8 after failing to test Veli Mothwa on three occasions in the first half before he eventually equalised on the stroke of halftime, taking his tally to three goals in seven appearances across all competitions.
Darwin Gonzalez: The Venezuelan had another fine game on the left flank on Saturday and looked to set up Brice Ambina in the second half, only for the midfielder to shoot straight at Mothwa in space inside the box. Gonzalez is City's top scorer in the league this season with three goals from his six outings.
