Betway Premiership club Siwelele FC has dismissed head coach Lehlohonolo Seema and assistant coach Willem Jackson following the club's disappointing start to the 2026/27 campaign.
The club confirmed the decision in an official statement released on Monday, announcing that both members of the technical team had been relieved of their first-team duties while an internal review of the senior team's performances and overall technical programme is conducted.
"Following a disappointing start to the 2026/27 season, Siwelele FC has relieved Head Coach Lehlohonolo Seema and Assistant Coach Willem Jackson of their first-team duties," the club said.
Former Siwelele player and club official Godfrey Mosoetsa has been appointed caretaker coach with immediate effect and will oversee the first team during the review process.

The decision comes after a challenging opening to the season, with the club acknowledging that results have fallen below expectations.
"This has been a challenging period for the club, and our supporters deserve better than what they have seen so far this season," the statement read. "Our belief in this team, in our players and in what we are building at Siwelele remains unchanged."
Despite the coaching shake-up, the club has stressed that it remains committed to its long-term project and believes the season can still be salvaged.
Siwelele called on players, staff and supporters to unite behind the team, emphasizing the values of courage, unity and collective responsibility that define the club's identity.
"Our season is still young. We will face the challenge in front of us together, as one team and one family," the statement added.
Club chairman Calvin le John, who issued the statement, said a further announcement regarding the club's coaching structure for the remainder of the season would be made once the review process has been completed.
Until then, the club indicated it would not provide additional comment on the matter.
The coaching changes mark the first major intervention by Siwelele FC since the start of the new season, as the club seeks to arrest its poor form and reignite its campaign under interim leadership.
