Ngcobo, 30, arrives after three season at Naturena, where he made 45 appearances (31 starts) and was at times used as a defensive midfielder.
He previously played for AmaZulu, Richards Bay and Uthongathi, but his breakthrough season came with Moroka Swallows in 2020/21, after which he was signed by Chiefs.
Sekhukhune have also confirmed the arrival of winger Joseph Maphaga from ABC Motsepe League side Highlands Park.
Maphaga impressed when he played against Sekhukhune in this year’s Nedbank Cup, a game the topflight team won on penalties after a 1-1 draw.
Sekhukhune, who recently unveiled German Peter Hyballa as their new coach, will need the full depth of their squad this season as they compete in the CAF Confederation Cup for the second year in a row.
