South Africa are set to take on Mozambique in the 2021 Cosafa Cup semifinal match at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Saturday.

Kick-off is at 3pm CAT (SA, GMT +2) and will be broadcast live on SuperSport, DStv and Showmax.

Bafana Bafana eased into the knockout phase after finishing at the top of Group A having recorded three victories and a draw.

They ended a successful group stage campaign with a 0-0 draw with Zambia on Wednesday with Bafana midfielder Yusuf Maart producing a Man of the Match performance.

Morena Ramoreboli, the South Africa caretaker coach, says that his players play to their strengths hence Maart flourished in midfield.

"We also tried to do our analysis and make sure that we play to each and every player's strength," Ramoreboli said.

"The likes of Maart performed well for his team [Sekhukhune United] and coming here we had to give him the very same confidence he was getting from his club.

"We had to make sure that he enjoys playing and for now he's done very well."

Meanwhile, Mozambique reached the semifinals after finishing second in Group B having registered two wins, one draw, and one defeat.

The Black Mambas went into their final group stage match against Namibia on Wednesday needing a win in order to advance to the last four.

Melque Melito was the hero for Mozambique as he scored the only goal of the match which earned Horacio Gonçalves's side a 1-0 victory over Namibia and a place in the knockout phase.

The winner between South Africa and Mozambique will face either Senegal or Eswatini in the final on Sunday.

This will be the eighth meeting between South Africa and Mozambique since September 1995.

Bafana have dominated this rivalry - winning five matches compared to the Black Mambas' one, while one match ended in a draw.
