Zambia take on Seychelles at the Princess Magogo Stadium in KwaMashu on Tuesday knowing nothing less than a win will do to keep their COSAFA Cup title defence alive.
Kick-off is at 3pm CAT (SA, GMT+2)
The Copper Bullets picked up their first win in Group B as they put in a much improved performance to beat Comoros 2-1 on Sunday, having suffered a disappointing 1-0 defeat to Malawi three days earlier.
Moses Sichone's side moved level on three points with the Coelacanths and the Flames, who ran out 2-0 victors against the Pirates a couple of hours later to pull clear at the top of the group.
Chipolopolo need maximum points against the Indian Ocean islanders to put pressure on their neighbours, while hoping that Comoros do them a favour on Tuesday.
Sichone praised his players for responding to their setback against Malawi, although he admits they need to communicate better after a mix-up at the back between defender Samson Mkandawire and goalkeeper Lawrence Mulenga allowed Affane Djambae to score for the Coelacanths.
"Great win, we needed it. Congratulations to the players, they have done well," he said. "It wasn't an easy game. We knew Comoros would go for a draw maybe, but we did very well and the boys responded well after the defeat in the first game.
"Mistakes at the back are understandable, these are young players. We just need to work on communication."
Seychelles have nothing to play for but pride following back-to-back defeats which has left them bottom of the group and out of contention for the knockout stages.
The Pirates are the only team in the tournament's history to have never gone beyond the group phase as regular competitors, having made their 13 appearance at the COSAFA Cup this year.
