Chiefs determined not to drop the ball in pursuit of DDC title

Kaizer Chiefs coach Vela Khumalo remains unfazed by their next two matches, which could be crucial in their DStv Diski Challenge title quest.
Chiefs completed a double over Orlando Pirates in a tense match last weekend in Bloemfontein, winning 1-0.
Amakhosi will now face SuperSport United, a team competing for the title, at FNB Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The clash against Matsatsantsa will be followed by a blockbuster against Stellenbosch FC at Idas Valley Stadium in Stellenbosch.
These two matches could be pivotal in Amakhosi's pursuit of the title.
As things stand, Chiefs are leading the log with 51 points followed by Stellenbosch in the second spot with 50 points.
SuperSport are third with 44 points and could derail Amakhosi's title quest, however, Khumalo, who will not be on the bench this Saturday, is not unsettled.
"We know what our target is, we said guys since we are not promoting players at the moment let's rather go for the league and I think we are on the right track moving up to what we want to get at the end of the season," said Khumalo.
He added: "We just want to win our games and if they win their games until the end we will have a four-point gap by then. But without being naïve and arrogant, we still have to play SuperSport and Stellenbosch and these tough teams that we are playing."
Khumalo will not be on the bench when Amakhosi host SuperSport on Saturday.
He is currently in Morocco with the SA Under-17 team that will be playing in the junior Africa Cup of Nations.
His assistant, Dillon Sheppard will be in charge of Amakhosi team.
