Chippa United pulled the mother of all shocks in the DStv Diski Challenge this past weekend.
The Chilli Boys are among the few teams who have not had a good start to the season. Lack of consistency has been one of their biggest problems.
However, on Saturday they punched above their weights in a match that many thought they would not get any positive results. But the Young Chilli Boys thumped log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns 4-0 to end the year on a high.
The Chilli Boys went to the break leading 1-0, in the second half things went from bad to worse for Sundowns as Chippa scored three more goals to record the famous victory.
The result saw Sundowns gap at the top being closed to one point as the league heads to Christmas recess.
