This is for the first time in. the history of SuperSport they win the reserve league title. They join the long list that included AmaTuks, Golden Arrows, Mamelodi Sundowns, Bloemfontein Celtic and Stellenbosch FC.
SuperSport winning the league came as no surprise this season. Last season they were the runners-up to Stellenbosch FC in the league race that was decided on the final day.

Despite seeing some of their players such as Neo Rapoo and Thapelo Maseko being roped into the first team, the Young Spartans showed perseverance and grit, continuing where they left off last season.
SuperSport had a slow start to the campaign.
Cape Town City FC were the early pace setters but were dethroned by Orlando Pirates at the top after spending 13 weeks at the top.
Pirates then occupied the No 1 spot until week 21 of the season when SuperSport stamped their authority and moved top.
The Young Spartans spent nine weeks at the summit and won the Diski Challenge with one match to spare.
However, it was not an easy ride for them as the three-horse race was separated by small margins until matchday 29 where both Pirates and City dropped points and SuperSport were declared champions.
The SuperSport Youngster will be rewarded with an overseas trip as part of the rewards for clinching the prestigious Diski Challenge title.
Destination and other detailed information regarding their overseas tour would be announced in due course.
