Chiefs and Pirates stay winning

Kaizer Chiefs secured a remarkable 4-3 victory over SuperSport United to make it back-to-back wins in the DStv Diski Challenge and move up to fourth on the table.

Despite falling behind early to Shandre Campbell's brace for SuperSport, Chiefs mounted a comeback as Donay Jansen's halftime penalty and Omega Mdaka's equalizer set the stage for a thrilling second half.

Campbell completed his hat-trick as Supersport retook the lead, but then goalkeeper Taitz received a red card for handling the ball outside the box. Chiefs capitalized on the numerical advantage, with Thulani Mabaso equalizing before Jansen netted the winning goal in the dying minutes of the game.

Orlando Pirates 4-0 Moroka Swallows

In the Soweto derby, Orlando Pirates dominated Moroka Swallows with a convincing 4-0 victory.

Lonwabo Magugwana, Lulama Nxumalo, and Mohau Nkota were Pirates' goal-scorers on the day, with the latter bagging a brace as the Buccaneers moved into third place on the log.

Sekhukhune United 3-2 AmaZulu

Sekhukhune United continued their winning streak in the Diski Challenge with a thrilling 3-2 victory over AmaZulu, despite finishing the match with 10 men after a late red card.

Forward Kutlwano Majoro handed Sekhukhune the lead before AmaZulu equalised to leave it all square at half-time.

Former Kaizer Chiefs teen star Keletso Sifama put Babina Noko back in front before AmaZulu drew level again, but Sekhukhune had the final say despite having a man sent off when Jordan Marks snatched the winner right at the death.

The victory leaves Sekhukhune sitting pretty in second on the table with three wins from three.

Cape Town Spurs 2-4 Royal AM

Royal AM's strong start to the season continued with a commanding 4-2 victory over Cape Town Spurs as they moved to the top of the table.

Spurs were enjoying a 2-1 lead with 20 minutes to play, but Royal added three goals in the last 20 minutes to totally turn the tables on their opponents.

Golden Arrows staged an impressive comeback, erasing a two-goal deficit to draw 2-2 against Polokwane City at Chatsworth Stadium.

Chippa United secured their second consecutive win with a 3-2 triumph over Cape Town City in a lively contest in the Eastern Cape province.

Mamelodi Sundowns claimed their first win of the season in the Diski Challenge, defeating Richards Bay FC 3-1. Masandawana took an early two-goal lead before Richards Bay managed a late first-half response but Sundowns had the final say.

TS Galaxy secured a 1-0 victory over Stellenbosch FC, maintaining their impressive start to the season.
