The two teams are giants in their own right when it comes to Ekasi Diski. Skepe Nketole, known as the Chopper Boys, have made it fashionable to drop their star players off in a helicopter.
It usually lands 15 minutes before kick-off, dropping off players who arrive in style, before usually producing the goods on the field too.
The team from Tembisa (Phomolong) has experienced players including Karabo Shakes Mkhabela, Jose Garcia and Tony Kgaruse. Wakko Jacko moved to the team from Mambas in 2023.
The players will not be meeting for the first time in a while, as AT Mambas beat Nketole 3-1 in a final of one of the Tembisa tournaments last month.
Mambas, playing in their second Champ of Champs tournament in the last three editions, have a lot to prove.
They are also a team with many favourites, including the likes of Xolani BlackBerry Nkala, Nkosinathi Neymar Ononogbo and Khethokwakhe Bereza Masuku. Their latest addition to their squad are twins (the Bophela brothers) Simo and Simiso.
Meanwhile, the 3rd/4th-place plate playoff was played on Saturday, with Aston Villa beating Shaka United 3-1.
The final on Sunday at 3pm promises to be one of the most exciting games of the competition.
