AT Mambas, Skepe Nketole to fight for DStv eKasi Champ of Champs title
Skepe Nketole beat Major1 2-1 on Friday to became the first side to qualify for the final of the 20224 DStv EKasi Champ of Champs.
The side from Tembisa came from a goal down to snatch victory and give themselves a chance to lift the coveted trophy and b ag the R250 000 prize money.
Major1 took the lead in the ninth minute through Sipho Maluleke, but Skepe pulled one back in the 57th minute through Laudy Bokaba who, in the process, registered his third goal of the tournament.
Siyabonga Mashinini scored the winner for Skepe in the 72nd minute.

In the second Cup semifinal, AT Mambas took on Newcastle Young Chiefs.
A goal in each half from Lorenzo Eckersley was enough to secure a comfortable 2-0 win for Mambas and a spot in the final against Skepe Nketole at the Moletsane Sports Complex in Soweto on Sunday.
The Mambas striker took his goals tally to four for this year's tournament, making him the leading joint top scorer with Major1's Lehlohonolo Morobi.
On Saturday Shaka United take on Aston Villa at 1pm in the Plate Cup 3/4th-place playoff, while Newcastle Young Chiefs will lock horns with Major1 at 3pm in the Main Cup 3/4th-playoff.
