Mamelodi Sundowns’ next fixture in the DStv Premiership will be against TS Galaxy as Rulani Mokwena and Sead Ramovic renew their rivalry in this clash. The match will be played at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium and kick-off is at 7:30 pm CAT (SA, GMT +2). Catch the action live on SuperSport.

CURRENT FORM

Sundowns are coming off the back of a disappointing semifinal loss to ES Tunis in the Caf Champions League and they will now shift their focus to the DStv Premiership. Their previous fixture in the league was against Sekhukhune United, where they won 2-1.

As for TS Galaxy, the team were successful in their last Premiership game and also walked away with a 2-1 victory against Moroka Swallows. In their previous two games, they lost against Stellenbosch but won against AmaZulu.

Masandawana are league leaders with 56 points and three games in hand over second-placed Stellenbosch, while Galaxy are placed fifth with 37 points.

WHAT WAS SAID

Downs defender Mosa Lebusa says that the camp is disappointed with their loss in the Champions League, but they will not allow it to deter them from losing their unbeaten run in the league.

“We were sad after exiting the Champions League, but we have picked ourselves up and we have to finish the league, and everyone is fully focused on the upcoming games,” said Lebusa.

“We are looking forward to our next game and looking to redeem ourselves. We have to win the league.”

“We have to go all out attack and make sure that we get maximum points and look forward to the next game.”

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Lucas Ribeiro, Mamelodi Sundowns - The forward is still in contention for the PSL Golden Boot with 11 goals. The dangerous attacker is lethal in front of goal and if on form, can cause a number of problems for the opposition.

Fiacre Ntwari, TS Galaxy - The goalkeeper has been showing up consistently for the Rockets and will need to be at his best to stop the goal attempts that the Brazilians create consistently.
