Katsande cautions teammates to keep calm
Sekhukhune United midfielder Willard Katsande has warned his teammates not to “lose their heads” after the team won a third DStv Premiership match in a row on Wednesday to move into the top three.
The newly promoted side beat AmaZulu 2-0 at Elis Park, despite finishing the game with 10 men following a red card for Pogiso Mahlangu.
Katsande netted his first goal for the club following his switch from Kaizer Chiefs ahead of the new season, while Nigerian forward Chibuike Ohizu added a second shortly afterwards.
"I'm happy after scoring my first goal for Sekhukhune and I'm very grateful for the opportunity to play for this badge. I don't take it for granted. You can never doubt my commitment,” Katsande said.
"I'm a businessman, I will always give my all for the bosses and the team. We have managed to win a third game in a row and that is the most important thing.
"We need to continue doing well and keep improving as a team, and not to get ahead of ourselves. We don't need to lose our heads, the journey continues, we just need to keep on going."
Sekhukhune face another tough test in their next game, away at Orlando Pirates on Tuesday.
