Lakay re-joins City from Sundowns

Cape Town City FC on Thursday announced the signing of Lyle Lakay on a season-long loan deal from Mamelodi Sundowns.
Lakay joined Sundowns in 2018 from the Citizens, turning out 158 times for the Brazilians and finding the net 14 times.

In last season's PSL campaign, Lakay appeared in 21 games for Sundowns and scored one goal.
Before joining Sundowns in 2018, the now 31-year-old player made 28 league appearances in total at Cape Town City, scoring two goals and providing four assists in a single season after joining from now defunct Bloemfontein Celtic.
