The club said that Kermit Erasmus, Thabang Monare and the goalkeeping pair of Siyabonga Mpontshane and Richard Ofori would leave when their contracts came to an end on June 30.
The quartet follow Fortune Makaringe and Cameroon striker Souaibou Marou out of the club. Their departures were announced earlier this week.
Pirates have also announced the exit of assistant coach Sergio Almenara, who is returning to Europe. He said his family had difficulty adapting to life in Johannesburg.
Spanish-born Almenara came from Finland along with Jose Riveiro two seasons ago.
