Adama City and five players sanctioned

Adama City and five players were punished by the Ethiopia Premier League on Wednesday.

The sanctions followed the review of the Ethiopian Premier League disciplinary committee's evaluation of Week 25 disciplinary decisions.

Adama City were fined 5000 birrs because five of their players received yellow cards in their match against Sidama Coffee

Shimket Gugsa of Fasil Kenema, Enyew Kassahun of Hawassa City and Girum Hagos of Mekelakeya were also punished.

They were all suspended for one match each and fined 1 500 Birrs for seeing their fifth yellow cards of the season.

Mesfin Tafeesse of Ethiopia Coffee and Seid Habtamu of Adama City both saw red cards following second yellow cards.

They were suspended for one match each.
