Mosses Odo of St George and Wolkite City's Tesfaye Melaku topped this week's Ethiopia Premier League sanctions following disciplinary hearings.
The Ethiopian premier league discipline committee revealed punishments for week six matches.
Two players were sanctioned for four matches and three clubs were also punished.
There were four players who have been shown red cards with two punished for violent conduct, due to kicking their opponents.
Mosses Odo (St George) and Tesfaye Melaku(Wolkite City) were, in addition to their four-match suspension, fined the sum of 3 000 Birr each.
Tewodros Bekele (Ethiopian Insurance) and Girum Hagos(Mekelakeya) are the players who were shown red cards, suspended for three matches and fined 3 000 Birr.
Adama City, St George and Ethiopia Coffee were fined for the hostile behaviour of their fans, with Adama and St George asked to pay 75 000 Birr each, and Ethiopia Coffee fined 100 000 Birr.
Adama City, Wolkite City, Mekelakeya, and Bahir Dar City were also punished, with each fined 5 000 Birr.
