Ismail Ouro-Agoro, who was the 2022/23 Betking Ethiopian Premier League highest goal scorer has joined Moroccan Botola league champions, Royal Army Club(ASFAR) from League Champions, St George.

The Togolese striker was the key player for St George in the keenly contested title race against Bahir Dar City and Ethiopian Insurance as he scored 25 goals.

Ouro-Agoro spent two successful seasons with the Horsemen, leading them to back-to-back titles in both seasons.

He played a total of 50 League matches during these two seasons and scored 37 goals, with 12 goals in the 2021/22 season and 25 last seasons.

Ouro-Agoro wrote a farewell letter to St George fans after he puts his pen on the agreement.

"Before starting my new chapter, I wanted to say a huge thank you to saint George club and the supporters for two wonderful seasons. I will never forget the smallest moments spent together and especially your immense support during my injury."

"You helped me take one step further in my career and i will always carry you in my heart. I wish the club the best."

He signed for Royal Army Club for the next three years.

The move represents the second time in the last 3 seasons that the top scorer in the BetKing Ethiopia Premier League has moved to a major African League.

The League's record goal scorer, Abubekher Nasir moved to Mamelodi Sundowns of the Premier Soccer League(PSL) in South Africa.
