The BetKing Ethiopia Premier League matches for week 17 that couldn't be played over the last weekend will be rescheduled.
The week's first match has been played between Ethiopia Coffee and Hawassa City and it ended 0 - 0.
The remaining 17th week matches were then cancelled due to the deplorable state of the Dire Dawa International Stadium pitch.
The six matches will now be played on other dates that will be decided at another venue after the next round of games, week 18 have been played.
The league matches since the restart of the season following the Chan break have been played at the Dire Dawa International Stadium but the heavy rain makes the pitch to be uncomfortable and most of the pitches side was very muddy.
The league's administrative body therefore decided to cancel the remaining fixtures at the city.
The other consideration is that the league will resume after the national team's matches during the upcoming international break.
