Ethio Electric and Wolkite City draw, Wolaitta Dicha pip Mekelakeya

Ethio Electric and Wolkite City played out a 2-2 draw in a pulsating encounter, and Wolaitta Dicha beat Mekelakeya 1-0 in another game.

Wolkite City scored the first goal of the game in the 10th minute through Abel Negash

In the 45th +1 minute of the game, Wolkite City Captain and veteran Striker, Getaneh Kebede made it 2-0 with his 14th goal of the season.

Ethio Electric have struggled to prevent defeats in the last 8 weeks, just managing a draw against Legetafo Legedadi as one of their rare moments of comfort.

They did pull a goal back in the 53rd minute when Abenet Demissie scored for Ethio Electric to bring the score down to 1-2.

This was the tonic for a massive fightback, and they were rewarded with an equaliser on 69 minutes, and ' Abdurahman Mubarek it was who put them into a 2-2 scoreline.

Ethio Electric moved up to 15th just by securing the one point as Legetafo Legedadi are forced back to the bottom of the table and Wolkite City dropped to 12th on the log

Wolaitta Dicha and Mekelakeya was a real battle royale but the fiery first half ended goalless.

However, in the second half, the game exploded in the 75th minute when their star Striker, Sintayehu Mengistu scored the lone goal of the game.

The win puts Wolaitta Dicha in 10th with Mekelakeya a position below them in 11th.
