Bahir Dar City look like the only thing standing between St George and another league title, but they face a resurgent Ethiopia Coffee and Ethio Electric host Dire Dawa City.
Ethiopia Coffee, who are unbeaten in their last five games and are currently in sixth place. A win would take them to fourth, so while they will not join the title race, there is still plenty to play for.
A win for Bahir Dar will cut St George's lead to four points, and with eight games still to play, they know they can still catch "the Horsemen," but they missed a chance last week after drawing 2-2 with Arbaminch City.
Ethio Electric look like they are destined for relegation along with fellow travellers Legetafo Legedadi as the two are 15th and 16th respectively.
They will need teams above them to lose four to five games but then, they have been unable to lift themselves with a win in weeks. Abdulrahman Mubarek 's late goal last week wasn't enough to lift them in their 1-2 loss to Ethiopian Insurance.
However, with three draws and two losses out of their last five games, they will hope to keep scrapping points, but they need a win. Dire Dawa City might just be in the kind of bad shape to prey on with three recent losses.
Sidama Coffee and Arbaminch City who are immediately above them are struggling as well, but both are 13 and 14 points ahead which makes it daunting.
