Ethiopia Coffee produced one of their best results of the season when they beat Dire Dawa City 4-1 to signal once again their pedigree.
It looked like an even matched battle in the first half with chances falling to both sides but no goals as they both went to the break goalless.
However, Mesfin Tafesse broke the deadlock when he powered home from close range to give Coffee a 1-0 lead on 48 minutes.
Eritrean Captain, Robel Teklemichael doubled the advantage in the 64th minute after he converted a penalty kick
for 2-0.
In the 73rd minute , Anteneh Tefera made it 3-0 in favour of Ethiopia Coffee
Dire Dawa City pulled one back in the 79th minute through Yasin Jemal sparking hopes of a revival.
There was still time for one more goal in the 90+4 minute of the game with Amanuel Yohannis scoring for Coffee to bring the final scores to Ethiopia Coffee 4-1 Dire Dawa City.
The win takes Ethiopia Coffee up to the 6th place on 30 points but ahead of Adama City and Fasil City who also have 30 points.
They are within touch of Hadiya Hossana and Hawassa City in 5th and 6th position respectively who are one point ahead on 31 points.
