Fasil Kenema face Wolkite City on Thursday as Ethiopia Premier League Week 25 matches roll in at Hawassa University Stadium with Ethiopia Nigd Bank looking to to consolidate their top position against Wolayita Dicha.

Ethiopia Nigd come up against Wolaitta Dicha at an inauspicious time for the Tona Bees.

The Bankers currently lead the league with 50 points, and are undefeated in the last six league matches, winning four and drawing two

Beselot Leulseged's team also boast the most goals (44) scored so far.

They also possess the league's sixth strongest defensive line, with the most clean sheets.

However, they only registered one clean sheet in recent games even as they went undefeated in their last six encounters.

Their opponents meanhile are going through quite the crisis in terms of their poor results.

Yared Gemchuu's team have won only one match in their last 11 league meetings.

Wolaitta Dicha have scored one goal in their last four matches and are in dire need of some service upfront. Of their seven wins so far, six of them have been by a 1-0 scoreline.

What makes this game interesting is that Wolaitta Dicha beat Ethiopia Nigd Bank earlier in the season.

Addis Gidey from Ethiopian Nigd Bank and Nathniel Nasero from Wolaitta Dicha will not line up in the match due to suspension.

In the second match of the day, Wolkite City, who are fighting for their lives in the relegation zone ,have their work cut out against Fasil Kenema.

Wolkite City are currently ranked 14th on the table with 16 points. This leaves them just three points away from the relegation zone.

They have not been helped by results in their last three games against top-three opponents.

They suffered a 3-0 defeat by Ethiopia Insurance in their last game, a reflection of their weak attacking line.

Fasil Kenema, on the other hand, have drawn five of their last seven games, losing to Dire Dawa City and won once against Hadiya Hossana.

Fasil Kenema, one of the clubs with a championship history in the league, are in 7th place, 13 points behind the leaders.

If the Emperors win the game, they will move up to fourth place until the other clubs play.
