Richards Bay will look to continue their impressive debut showing in the DStv Premiership when they welcome Cape Town City to the King Goodwill Zwelithini Stadium on Wednesday.
Kick-off is at 7.30pm CAT (SA, GMT+2)
The Natal Rich Boyz are the early challengers to defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns after suffering just two defeats from their opening 11 matches.
Pitso Dladla's side drew 0-0 with local rivals Maritzburg United on Saturday to go level with the Brazilians on 19 points, having played two games more.
The Motsepe Foundation Championship winners are now unbeaten in their last six top-flight encounters and Dladla is convinced they'll carry on growing from strength to strength.
"I really, really feel for the boys, they deserved more than a point," he said. "Look, we know the challenges that we are faced with. It's just a matter of working more in the last third, taking the right decisions, be calm, be patient and just converting chances.
"With the chances we created it just takes one goal, that's why I'm saying I feel for the boys but we know what we have to work on."
The Citizens return to domestic action after featuring in the Caf Champions League over the past two weekends, with their African adventure ending in the second-round qualifiers following a 4-0 aggregate defeat to Petro de Luanda over the two legs.
Eric Tinkler's team shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw with Golden Arrows in the league last time out, which extended their undefeated streak to six matches.
However, City find themselves down in 12th place after picking up just two wins from their opening nine fixtures and Tinkler admitted the league was their priority ahead of the trip to Angola last weekend.
"We have to go there and at least score three to get ourselves back into the game," he said, referring to the 3-0 deficit from the first leg in Cape Town.
"But in the next couple of days, we will make a decision on what the plan will be because there is a bigger picture here at home in the league."
PLAYERS TO WATCH
Richards Bay:
Somila Ntsundwana: The 25-year-old forward put in a man-of-the-match display against the Team of Choice to scoop his second accolade of the season. Ntsundwana had a couple of chances to get on the scoresheet on Saturday and was denied his second goal of the campaign by a wonderful save.
Yanela Mbuthuma: The 20-year-old forward was handed his first start of the season against Maritzburg United and should really have opened his account, but failed to hit the target twice from good positions inside the box. Mbuthuma has come off the bench eight times and will be hoping to have done enough last time out to earn another start in midweek.
Cape Town City:
Khanyisa Mayo: The 24-year-old forward is the club's joint-top scorer with three goals, although he should have made it four against Arrows, but fired wide of the right post from the edge of the area with just the goalkeeper to beat in the second half. Mayo has a habit of getting into good positions inside the box and isn't afraid to shoot from distance when the opportunity presents itself.
Darren Keet: The 33-year-old goalkeeper has established himself as the No 1 at City following the departure of Hugo Marques in August. Keet spent much of last season on the sidelines though injury, but has featured in all six league games since Marques returned to Petro de Luanda. He was at fault for Arrows' equaliser, having kept them at bay for much of the contest prior to his error.
