The wait is over. As Africa’s finest footballing nations descend upon Morocco for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) 2025, SuperSport is pulling out all the stops to ensure the continent’s most beloved tournament is met with a broadcast of unprecedented scale.

The 35th edition kicks off in Morocco from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026.
SuperSport is thrilled to confirm that every single one of the 52 Afcon matches will be broadcast live, featuring a world-class panel of experts, with state-of-the-art graphics and picture quality that Your World of Champions is renowned for.
The studio will feature a powerhouse of continental royalty, featuring the legendary Salomon Kalou, a Uefa Champions League winner with Chelsea and an Afcon champion in 2017, who remains one of Ivory Coast’s greatest icons.

Joining him is former Manchester United striker and 2019 Afcon Golden Boot winner, Odion Ighalo. The Nigerian will be a sound voice to the goal-scoring exploits on screen, giving insights that fans will experience nowhere else except SuperSport.
The defensive and goalkeeping perspectives are just as elite, with Nigerian veteran Daniel Akpeyi bringing years of international experience between the sticks, and Orlando Pirates’ defensive pillar Olisa Ndah offering a sharp, modern take on the game’s toughest backlines. The depth of this squad flows across the continent with a massive roster of analysts who have lived and breathed the game.
Fans can look forward to the tactical minds of former South African internationals Shaun Bartlett, Bongani Khumalo, and Stanton Fredericks, alongside the legendary flair of Teko Modise, Phumudzo Manenzhe, and Simphiwe Dludlu. SuperSport is the only broadcaster that will bring the TotalEnergies CAF Afcon 2025 across English- and Portuguese-speaking Sub-Saharan African countries, in selected local languages, including Pidgin, Swahili, isiZulu, and Setswana. This will include a dedicated 24-hour SS Afcon channel, available across DStv and GOtv in Sub-Saharan Africa.
