High riding Ethiopian Insurance came crumbling down to earth when Bahir Dar City came from behind to beat them 3-2 at Dire Dawa, and it was also a good hunting ground for Dire Dawa City in their 3-1 win over Ethiopia Coffee.
Ethiopian Insurance shot into a 1-0 lead on 35 minutes through Biruk Mulugeta with his 3rd goal of the season.
Tesfaye Tamirat equalized for Bahir Dar City 3 minutes later 38 minutes and Fuad Fereja put Bahir Dar into a 2-1 lead.
Bahir Dar got further ahead in the 64th minute through Habtamu Taddese to make it 3-1. However, on 90+2' minutes, katika Jimma pulled one back for Insurance as the game ended 2-3 in favour of Bahir Dar City.
Bahir Dar's win moves them to the 3rd position on the log directly behind their opponents. Insurance remains in the 2nd position behind the Leaders, St George.
Ethiopia Coffee are in 5th despite their loss to Dire Dawa who have now moved up to the 8th position.
