Lamontville Golden Arrows have confirmed the signing of Namibia international goalkeeper Edward Maova.

The 29-year-old has been in South Africa on and off since the 2018-19 season, but Golden Arrows will be his first club in the DStv Premiership.

He has had two spells with University of Pretoria, including last season when he played in 27 of their 30 regular season games in the Motsepe Foundation Championship as they made the promotion play-offs.

Maova has also previously turned out for Royal Eagles, TS Sporting and Pretoria Callies, never spending more than a single campaign with one club.

In all, he has made 73 starts in all competitions across his South African clubs and remains a current Namibia international.
