-- NIGERIA ONLY --

Aston Villa v Arsenal

Since their return to the competition in 2019, Aston Villa have won five of their 12 Premier League games against Arsenal (D1 L6), as many as they had in their previous 45 against the Gunners before relegation (D14 L26).

At no away ground have Arsenal won more Premier League games than they have against Aston Villa at Villa Park (15, level with Selhurst Park). Since their return to the Premier League in 2019, Aston Villa have lost six of their eight games against sides starting the day top of the table (W1 D1). However, their only win in this run came at home to Arsenal in December 2023.

Since losing this exact fixture in August last season, Aston Villa have lost just one of their last 25 Premier League home games (W16 D8). They’ve won each of their last five at Villa Park since going down 3-0 against Crystal Palace in August.

Arsenal have lost just one of their last 21 Premier League away games (W11 D9), going down 1-0 at Liverpool in August. Each of their last three away defeats have been to nil, with the Gunners unbeaten in 30 on the road when scoring at least once in the match (W21 D9).

Eight of Arsenal’s last 13 Premier League away goals have been headers, including six of their nine on the road this season. Meanwhile, four of the last six home goals Aston Villa have conceded in the Premier League have been headed, including each of the last three in a row.

Since the start of March, no side has won more Premier League games than Aston Villa (16, level with Manchester City). The Villans have won eight of their last nine league games, with the exception a 2-0 loss at Liverpool in November.

Arsenal haven’t conceded more than twice in any of their last 108 games in all competitions, the outright longest run of any team in English football league history surpassing Manchester United’s 107 between 2016 and 2018.

Of the 40 managers to have taken charge of 100+ Premier League away games, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has the fourth highest win rate (53 per cent - won 59/112). Indeed, he’s one of only five to have won more than half of their 100+ away games along with Pep Guardiola, Alex Ferguson, Jürgen Klopp and José Mourinho.

Ollie Watkins scored twice in Aston Villa’s 4-3 win over Brighton last time out, having netted just twice in his previous 18 Premier League games. The striker also has six goals in 10 Premier League games against Arsenal, only netting more against Brighton (9).

Bournemouth v Chelsea

Bournemouth are winless in their last seven Premier League games against Chelsea (D3 L4), having won three of their previous four against the Blues (L1).

Chelsea have lost just one of their eight Premier League away games against Bournemouth (W5 D2), going down 4-0 in January 2019 under Maurizio Sarri.

This is Bournemouth’s eighth Premier League game kicking off at 3pm on Saturday this season, with only Burnley and Sunderland playing more in this slot (10 including today’s games). The Cherries won each of their first three but are since winless in four (D3 L1), going down 3-2 at Sunderland last week.

Chelsea have lost both of their Premier League games kicking off at 3pm on a Saturday this season, going down at home to both Brighton and Sunderland. The Blues haven’t lost three in a row in this kick-off slot since November 2000 (vs Southampton, Charlton and Everton).

Bournemouth have lost four of their last five Premier League games (D1), more than they had in their previous 17 (W8 D6 L3).

Chelsea are on the longest current scoring streak of any side in the Premier League, netting in all 13 of their games since a goalless draw with Crystal Palace on the opening weekend.

Only Arsenal have conceded fewer home goals than Bournemouth (5) in the Premier League this season, though the Cherries suffered their first home defeat of the season against Everton last time out.

Chelsea’s João Pedro opened the scoring within the opening 15 minutes in both of Brighton’s Premier League meetings with Bournemouth last season, with the Seagulls going on to win 2-1 both times. The Brazilian is looking to score in three in a row against an opponent for the first time in the competition.

Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo has failed to score or assist a goal in any of his last six Premier League appearances. After the first seven match rounds this season, he was second only to Erling Haaland (10) for goal involvements (9 – 6 goals, 3 assists).

No Chelsea player has either scored (5) or been involved in (7) more Premier League goals than Pedro Neto this season. The Portuguese has been involved in six goals in his last seven appearances in the competition (4 goals, 2 assists).

Everton v Nottingham Forest

Everton have lost just two of their last 11 Premier League games against Nottingham Forest (W7 D2), though both those defeats have come in home matches (0-1 in January 1999, 0-2 last season).

Following their 2-0 victory in this exact fixture last season, Nottingham Forest are looking to win consecutive away league games against Everton for the first time. This match will be their 64th visit to the Toffees.

Nottingham Forest won away at both Everton and Liverpool last season, and have already won 3-0 at Anfield this season. The last team to win away against both Merseyside clubs in consecutive league campaigns were Manchester United in 2006-07/2007-08.

Everton have lost two of their last three Premier League home games (W1), more than they had in their previous 13 (W5 D7 L1). Their defeats this term have been 0-3 against Tottenham and 1-4 against Newcastle – only in 1993-94 (3) and 2022-23 (3) have they lost more Premier League home games by 3+ goals.

Nottingham Forest are unbeaten in their three Premier League games kicking off at 3pm on Saturday this season (W1 D2), winning 3-0 at Liverpool in their last such match. No side has had fewer shots on target than Everton in the Premier League this season (41), with the Toffees average of 2.9 shots on target per game their lowest on record in a single campaign (since 1997-98).

Nottingham Forest have won three of their last four Premier League games (L1), as many as they had in their previous 18 (D5 L10). Having conceded in 13 consecutive away league games between January and October, Forest have now won their last two on the road by an aggregate score of 4-0.

Nottingham Forest manager Sean Dyche has only won more Premier League games against Bournemouth (8) and Crystal Palace (8) than he has against Everton (6). This will be his first meeting with his former side since leaving the club in January.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has either scored (1) or assisted (1) a goal in his last two Premier League home games for Everton. Only with Blackpool in February/March 2020 has he had a hand in a goal in three consecutive home league appearances.

Igor Jesus is Nottingham Forest’s top scorer in all competitions this season with six goals, though his winner against Wolves last time out was his first Premier League goal of the campaign.

Manchester City v Sunderland

Manchester City have won their last six Premier League games against Sunderland, with this the first meeting since a 2-0 away win in March 2017.

Sunderland have never won away in 13 attempts against Manchester City in the Premier League (D2 L11).

Their last away top-flight win there was in December 1981 at Maine Road.

Man City have never lost a Premier League game at the Etihad against Sunderland in 11 meetings (W9 D2) – only Newcastle United (20) and West Brom (12) have played more games there without winning than the Black Cats.

Manchester City have won 24 of their last 26 Premier League games against promoted sides (D2), with their last such defeat coming at home to Leeds in April 2021.

Manchester City have won 11 of their last 12 Premier League home games, including each of the last six in a row. They’re the third team in Premier League history to lose their opening home match of a campaign then win the next six after Tottenham in 2011-12 and Arsenal in 2013-14, both of whom drew their next match.

Manchester City have won all three of their Premier League games kicking off at 3pm on a Saturday this season by an aggregate score of 10-3. At home, they’ve won 22 of their last 25 games in this slot (D3), since a 2-0 defeat to Crystal Palace in October 2021.

Manchester City have conceded eight goals in their last three Premier League games, as many as they had in their previous 12 combined. Their 5-4 win against Fulham last time out was the first time they’d won a league game in which they conceded 4+ goals since December 1957 (5-4 v Sheffield Wednesday).

No team have won more points from losing positions in the Premier League than Sunderland this season (12, level with Aston Villa). Only in 1999-00 (15) and 2000-01 (13) have the Black Cats won more points from behind in a single campaign.

Only against Blackburn (3) did Erling Haaland’s father (Alf Inge Haaland) score more Premier League goals than he did against Sunderland (2). Indeed, his first goal for Manchester City in the competition came against the Black Cats in August 2000.

Phil Foden has scored four goals in his last two Premier League games, having netted just once in his previous 20 appearances. The only Man City player to score 2+ goals in three consecutive Premier League games is Erling Haaland (September 2024), while the last English player to do so in the competition (all clubs) was Tammy Abraham (September 2019).

Newcastle United v Burnley

Newcastle have won each of their last six Premier League games against Burnley – in their top-flight history, only against Bury between 1903 and 1906 have they ever won seven in a row.

Burnley are winless in all seven of their Premier League away games against Newcastle (D3 L4), with their last league victory at St James’ Park coming in April 1976 (D4 L6 since).

Newcastle have lost just one of their last 27 Premier League games against promoted sides (W17 D9), going down 1-0 at Luton in December 2023. Their last such home defeat was against Leeds in January 2021 (W7 D5 since).

No team have conceded the first goal in fewer Premier League games than Newcastle this season (2, level with Crystal Palace). However, no team has dropped more points having opened the scoring than the Magpies (11, level with Brentford).

Burnley have lost seven of their last eight Premier League away games (W1), conceding at least twice in all eight of these matches. Only in their first 11 away games in the competition between August 2009 and

January 2010 have they had a longer run conceding 2+ in the Premier League.

Burnley have lost each of their last five Premier League games, only once having a longer run in the competition (6 in October/November 2023). The Clarets have also had the fewest shots of any Premier League side this term (115).

Newcastle boss Eddie Howe has lost just one of his last 22 Premier League meetings with a fellow English manager (W12 D9), going down 3-0 at Sean Dyche’s Everton in December 2023. Meanwhile, this is Burnley boss Scott Parker’s first top-flight game against an English manager since a 2-0 win over Steven Gerrard’s Aston Villa with Bournemouth in August 2022.

Burnley’s Zian Flemming has scored in each of his first three away Premier League starts – the only player to score in each of his first four away starts in the competition is Erling Haaland in August/September 2022.

Bruno Guimarães has either scored (3) or assisted (1) a goal in each of his last four Premier League home games, with all four of these involvements putting Newcastle a goal ahead in the match.

Zian Flemming has scored in each of his last three Premier League away games, netting four goals in total in this run. No Burnley player has ever scored in four in a row on the road in the competition.

Tottenham Hotspur v Brentford

Spurs have lost just one of their eight Premier League meetings with Brentford (W4 D3), winning each of the last three in a row.

Brentford have lost three of their four Premier League away games against Spurs, with the exception being a 3-1 win in May 2023.

Brentford are just the second London side to face both Arsenal and Tottenham away from home in consecutive Premier League matches after Chelsea in December 2010. The Blues drew 1-1 at White Hart Lane before a 3-1 loss at the Emirates.

Tottenham have lost their last three Premier League London derby matches, last losing more consecutively between March and October 2021 (5). They’ve lost each of their last four such matches at home, never in their league history losing five in a row.

Brentford have won just three of their last 16 Premier League London derbies (D4 L9), though all three of those victories have come away from home (vs Crystal Palace and West Ham twice).

Tottenham have won just three of their 16 Premier League home games in 2025 (D3 L10), their lowest win rate across a calendar year in their league history (19 per cent). Meanwhile, their 10 home defeats this year is also a joint-high for the club along with 1994 and 2003.

No side has lost more Premier League away games than Brentford this season (6), with only Wolves (1) picking up fewer points on the road than the Bees (3).

This will be Tottenham manager Thomas Frank’s first Premier League meeting with his former side Brentford. Four of the last six occasions a Spurs boss has faced a specific former side for the first time they’ve lost, with the exceptions being Nuno Espírito Santo beating Wolves 1-0 (August 2021) and Mauricio Pochettino beating Southampton 1-0 (October 2014).

Mohammed Kudus has five assists for Tottenham in the Premier League this season, already just one short of his highest return in the competition (6 in 2023-24). With a goal against Fulham and an assist against Newcastle, the Ghanaian is looking to register a goal involvement in three consecutive Premier League games for the first time.

Igor Thiago has scored nine goals in his last eight Premier League starts, with these goals being worth eight points to Brentford.

Leeds United v Liverpool

Leeds have won just one of their last 12 Premier League games against Liverpool (D3 L8), beating them 2-1 at Anfield in October 2022.

Liverpool are unbeaten in their last six Premier League away games against Leeds (W4 D2), winning 6-1 on their last visit to Elland Road in April 2023.

Liverpool’s last two Premier League victories against Leeds have been by 6-0 and 6-1 scorelines. Only Arsenal have scored 6+ goals against an opponent in three different Premier League games before (vs Blackburn Rovers).

Leeds have won just one of their last 16 Premier League games against the reigning champions (D4 L11), winning 3-2 at Arsenal in May 2003. At home, they’re winless in eight (D2 L6) since a 1-0 win against Arsenal in May 1999.

Leeds beat Chelsea 3-1 in their last Premier League game, having lost four in a row before this. They last won consecutive matches in the top-flight in October/November 2022, one of which came against Liverpool.

Liverpool have lost seven of their last 11 Premier League away games (W4), with only Fulham and Wolves (8 each) losing more since the start of April. The Reds’ previous seven away defeats had come over a 45- game spell between January 2023 and February 2025.

Liverpool have won all seven Premier League games in which they’ve scored first this season, with only Arsenal (9) having a better 100 per cent win record. However, the Reds have lost six of their seven games when conceding first this term (D1).

Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah has scored nine goals in just six Premier League games against Leeds, with only Alan Shearer (20) and Thierry Henry (10) netting more against the Whites. Following goals against Manchester City and Chelsea, Leeds striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin is looking to score in three consecutive Premier League appearances for the first time since August 2021.

No team has had more different players create 20+ chances than Liverpool in the Premier League this season (4, level with Chelsea) – Mohamed Salah (28), Cody Gakpo (25), Dominik Szoboszlai (24) and Florian Wirtz (20).

Brighton and Hove Albion v West Ham United

Brighton have lost just one of their 16 Premier League games against West Ham (W7 D8), a 3-1 home loss in August 2023.

West Ham have won just 6 per cent of their Premier League games against Brighton (1/16), their lowest win rate against any side they’ve faced more than twice in the competition.

Brighton have scored more Premier League goals against West Ham than they have v any other side (31), while they’ve only beaten Manchester United (8) more than the Hammers (7) in the competition.

Brighton have won their last two weekend Premier League matches, beating Brentford and Nottingham Forest. The Seagulls haven’t won on three consecutive weekends (Saturday/Sunday) since August/September 2022.

West Ham have won each of their last three Premier League away games played on a Sunday, as many as they had in their previous 27 (D5 L19).

Brighton lost 4-3 to Aston Villa in their last Premier League home game, ending a 10-game unbeaten run at the Amex Stadium (W6 D4).

Brighton have scored more second half goals than any other side in the Premier League this season (17), including a joint league-high 10 in the final 15 minutes of games.

West Ham manager Nuno Espírito Santo has won just two of his nine Premier League games against Brighton (D5 L2), though his most recent with the Seagulls ended in his joint biggest win in his managerial career (7-0 with Nottingham Forest in February).

West Ham striker Callum Wilson has been involved in eight Premier League goals against Brighton (5 goals, 3 assists), only having a hand in more against Burnley (9) and the Hammers themselves (12).

Against no side has Brighton’s Danny Welbeck scored more Premier League goals than he has against West Ham (6), while only against Everton (10) has he been involved in more than against the Hammers (9 – 6 goals, 3 assists).

Fulham v Crystal Palace

Fulham have won none of their last six Premier League home games against Crystal Palace (D3 L3) since a 3-1 victory in January 2005.

Crystal Palace won this exact fixture 2-0 in February, ending a six-game winless run against Fulham in the Premier League (D4 L2).

Fulham have alternated between defeat (3) and victory (2) in their last five home London derbies in the Premier League, losing 1-0 against Arsenal last time out in October.

Crystal Palace won 2-0 against Brentford in their last Premier League London derby – they’ve not won consecutive derby matches since April 2017 (vs Chelsea and Arsenal).

Fulham scored four goals for the first time in 52 Premier League matches last time out against Man City, but still ended on the losing side. It was just the second time they’d lost a home league match while scoring 4+ goals, after a 4-6 defeat to Leicester in September 1952.

Only Arsenal have kept more clean sheets (8) and conceded fewer goals (7) in the Premier League this season than Crystal Palace (7 clean sheets, 11 goals conceded), with the Eagles keeping a shutout in four of their last five games.

Since the start of last season, only Brighton (23) have had more goals scored via substitutes in the Premier League than Fulham (21, excl. own goals), with Samuel Chukwueze netting twice from the bench against Man City last time out.

Fulham’s Samuel Chukwueze is averaging a goal or assist every 46 minutes in the Premier League this season, scoring two and assisting three in just 229 minutes. It’s the best minutes per goal involvement of any player in the competition’s history (min. 200 minutes).

Three of Emile Smith Rowe’s last five Premier League goals have been headers – none of his first 15 in the competition for Arsenal and Fulham had been headed.

Crystal Palace’s Jean-Philippe Mateta has never scored a Premier League goal against Fulham in five games against them, his joint most against a side without a goal (also five v Southampton). He’s had 10 shots and registered an xG of 1.52 without scoring against the Cottagers.

Wolverhampton Wanderers v Manchester United

Wolves did the Premier League double over Manchester United last season, as many victories as they’d managed in their previous 14 against the Red Devils (W2 D3 L9).

Manchester United lost this exact fixture 2-0 last season but haven’t lost consecutive league visits against Wolves at Molineux since August 1980.

Manchester United have only ever lost eight Premier League games against sides starting the day bottom of the table. However, 25 per cent of these (2/8) have been against Wolves at Molineux (0-1 in January 2004, 1-2 in February 2011).

Wolves have won just one of their last 10 Monday night (7pm or later) games in the Premier League (D2 L7) and are winless in six since a 2-1 win against Everton in November 2021.

Manchester United are unbeaten in four away Premier League matches (W2 D2), having gone eight without a win on the road beforehand. They last had a longer unbeaten away run between November and February in the 2021-22 campaign (seven).

Manchester United have won just one of their last seven Premier League away games in December (D1 L5), beating Manchester City 2-1 at the Etihad last year.

Wolves have just two points from their 14 Premier League games this season, the joint-fewest ever at this stage of a top-flight campaign along with Manchester United in 1930-31 (2 pts/win) and Sheffield United in 2020-21.

Wolves have lost each of their last seven Premier League games, failing to score in each of the last five. In their league history, they’ve only lost eight in a row once (December 1981 to February 1982), while this is their longest run of defeats without a goal.

Bruno Fernandes has assisted in each of his last four away Premier League appearances, registering five assists. The Manchester United captain is looking to become the fifth player to assist in five away games in a row, after Muzzy Izzet in 2003, Cesc Fàbregas in 2014-15, Gerard Deulofeu in 2015 and Mohamed Salah in 2023.
