Daisies travel to Wellington for crucial battle versus Boland in round twelve

The Bulls Daisies travel down to Wellington where they will take on third-placed Sanlam Boland Dames in a crucial battle for points in round 12 of the 2024 SA Rugby Women’s Premier Division on Saturday 13 July 2024.

The Tshwane ladies sit at the top of the table, four points ahead of the DHL Western Province [46] who host fourth-placed Border [29], with both of the top two teams putting pressure on each other as the competition nears the knockouts.

The clash at the Boland Stadium will kick off at 14h00 with Siyanda Pikoli entrusted with the whistle duties.

The Daisies will line up a rotated front row with Yonela Ngxingolo, Micke Günter and Sanelisiwe Charlie leading the pack. The tested lock pairing of Vainah Ubisi and Anathi Qolo is retained once more with skipper Lusanda Dumke and Faith Tshauke at flank, while Sophy Mashapa slots in at eight.

Rumandi Potgieter starts at scrumhalf, linking up with Naima Hlatshwayo as the half-back pairing in the Cape Winelands.

Behind them are Mahlatse Nkhumishe at left wing and the in-form Patience Mokone on the right-hand side of the park. Chumisa Qawe comes into the starting lineup and will partner up with Jakkie Cilliers at centre, with Zintle Nonkasana at full-back.

Head coach, Hayden Groepes will have fresh legs in Xolelwa Diliza, Lebogang Ralebona, Asithandile Ntoyanto, Ziyanda Ngohlekana, Glenda Baloyi, Unam Tose, Sesihle Maguga and Unathi Mali, who all make up the impact squad
