Legetafo Legedadi have been relegated from the BetKing Ethiopian Premier League after just one season in the top flight.
They participated in the Ethiopia Premier League for the first time in the Club's history with 5 games remaining.
Even if they win the remaining five games, they will finish with 26 points, the same as Arbaminch City in the last relegation zone but Legetafo Legedadi have a -40-goal difference
Legetafo Legedadi drew 1-1 with Ethiopia Coffee Saturday at the Hawassa University Stadium and Arbaminch City drew 0-0 with Adama City in the other game that had consequences for Legetafo Legedadi.
The club had only been promoted to the Premier League along with both Ethio Electric and Arbaminch City from the Higher League this season.
The result for Arbaminch City gives them a useful point but doesn't really change their situation on the log.
Ethio Electric are on 11 points and now bottom, so must win their next game against Mekelakeya on Tuesday, or they too will be relegated but surviving will prove to be an uphill task.
Arbaminch City must hope that either of Wolkite City, Sidama Coffee or Dire Dawa falters in the next few weeks or they will be the third team to be relegated.
Arbaminch City have been hampered by their unfortunate record 14 draws this season.
