Mexican driver Sergio Perez is set to celebrate a remarkable milestone this weekend as he makes his 300th Formula 1 start at his home Grand Prix in Mexico City.
The achievement caps a career spanning more than 15 years, during which Perez has raced for Sauber, McLaren, Force India, Racing Point, Red Bull and, most recently, Cadillac.
Known for his resilience, racecraft and tyre management, Perez became one of Mexico's most successful Formula 1 drivers, claiming multiple Grand Prix victories, including memorable wins in Bahrain and Monaco.
He has also played a major role in the resurgence of Formula 1's popularity in Mexico since the return of the Mexican Grand Prix in 2015.
Reaching 300 starts is a testament to Perez's longevity and consistency at the pinnacle of motorsport, and doing so in front of his passionate home crowd at the Mexico City Grand Prix makes the occasion even more special.
