Seyum Kebede and Temesgen Dana will be missing on the technical benches for Sidama Coffee and Ethiopia Coffee when they meet in the Coffee Derby, a crunch BetKing Ethiopia Premier League tie.
Kebede, who has been confirmed aa the new head Coach of Sidama Coffee won't be barking out instructions to his new charges
at the Bahir Dar University Stadium Thursday afternoon just yet due to administrative issues.
In an unrelated development, his opposite number in Ethiopia Coffee, Temesgen Dana will also be missing for an unrelated reason.
Coach Dana has returned to Hawassa due to grief, as a result, the assistant Coaches for both Clubs, Chonbe Gebrehiwot for Sidama and Yosef Tedfaye for Ethiopia Coffee will take charge of today's proceedings.
Sidama has had a terrible start to them season following an opening week 2-2 draw with Dire Dawa with a 1-4 loss to Hadiya Hossana and a 1-5 loss to St George leading to the sack of Wondemagegn Teshome
Kebede is one of Ethiopia's most revered and experienced Coaches, is a former coach of St. George's, Fasil Kenema, Defense, Addis Ababa City, Yemen's Al-Tehilal and Al-Sakkar, and the Ethiopia National team.
He has won the League with St George and most recently with Fasil City.
He is said to have signed a two-year deal and is awaiting conclusion of all the necessary paperwork but has arrived and taken over the team at Bahir Dar.
