Ethiopia Coffee dent CBE, Ethiopian Insurance beat Hambericho

League leaders CBE (Commercial Bank of Ethiopia) dropped points against Ethiopia Coffee when they played to a 2-2 draw.

Meanwhile, Ethiopian Insurance beat Hambericho Durame 2-0, with Abubeker Sani of Ethiopian Insurance and Simon Piter of CBE recording braces in their respective matches.

Hambericho had managed to hold Ethiopian Insurance to a goalless first half but couldn't contain them in the second half.

Abubeker Sani struck in the 68th minute to give Insurance a 1-0 lead, and he completed his brace on 75 minutes.

It was the reverse in the second game as Simon Piter scored twice in the first half to give the leaders a 2-0 lead going into the break.

Simon Piter scored in the fifth and 44th minutes and it looked like the Bankers, also known as Ethiopia Nigd Bank, were on another winning trip.

However, Ethiopia Coffee mounted a spirited fightback in the second half.

Amanuel Yohannis pulled one back for the Coffee Men in the 84th minute.

Coffee drew level three minutes into second-half stoppage time through Fetudin Kemal to bring the final scores to 2-2.
