Luca Van Assche won the Estoril ATP 250 title on Sunday with a 6-4, 4-6, 7-5 win over Belgium's Alexander Blockx for his first tournament win on the circuit.
The 22-year-old Frenchman won the junior title at Roland Garros five years ago and his latest win will lift him to 48th in the ATP rankings.
"It's been an incredible week, my first match Monday lasted 3hr 30min. I love playing in Portugal I won my first junior title here and now my first ATP title," Van Assche said.
