Bahir Dar continued their struggles in the BetKing Ethiopia Premier League when they lost 0-1 to Arbaminch City at the Adama Science and Technology Stadium.
Bahir Dar coach Abraham Mebratu must be wondering how to get his strikers such as Osei Mawuli scoring again and it's not that they are not playing well or creating chances
Mawuli waltzed his way past three defenders but Ali Soliman just could not beat the goalkeeper.
Arbaminch City on the other hand will wish their striker, Habib Kemal, can be more prolific as he fluffed an early chance in the third minute with the goalkeeper at his mercy.
They will be very pleased with the hard work and trickery of Fikadu Mekonen on the left wing who dazzled his way and set up Kemal again in the 16th minute but he fluffed it.
However, Kemal did make amends in the 38th minute with a spectacular goal. After receiving the ball from Fikadu, he controlled the ball with his chest, turned and buried the ball in the top right corner.
What followed was the Fikadu Mekonen show, as the winger tormented Bahir Dar until the end for the win which lifts Arbaminch to seventh position
