TS Galaxy were among the teams in the winning column during this weekend’s Betway Premiership fixture list, following their 2-0 win against Golden Arrows at the Mbombela Stadium on Saturday evening.
In what was a closely contested affair in Mbombela, Galaxy were the eventual winners courtesy of goals in either half by Keagan Dolly and second-half substitute Puso Dithejane.

Abafana Bes’thende were placed under immense pressure during the first 10 minutes of the match, with TS Galaxy taking the game to their opponents early on.
The Rockets then took the lead in the 13th minute as Dolly’s left-footed shot from range beat Ismael Watenga in goal.
Dolly continued to be the creator-in-chief for his side throughout the first half and came close to doubling his side’s advantage in the 21st minute with a header from the centre of the box.
With Arrows playing under the cosh, Galaxy actively searched for their second goal.
Chances remained few for Arrows leading up to the halftime break, while the Rockets came close to doubling their advantage on a couple of occasions.
Nevertheless, the score remained at 1-0 in favour of Galaxy heading into the recess period.
Samukelo Kabini and Mpho Mvelase looked lively after the restart with both TS Galaxy stars having efforts from outside the area.
At the other end of the pitch, Angelo Van Rooi proved to be a tricky customer for the Galaxy defence, as seen with his attacking advancements on the right-hand side of the pitch.
Abafana Bes’thende often took the direct route in an attempt to get back into the game, most of which were efforts from outside the 18-yard-area.
However, Galaxy remained resolute in guarding their quarters.
The Rockets ended the half on a strong note, having created numerous scoring opportunities through the likes of Dithejane and Kabini.
Then, on the stroke of the final whistle, Dithejane added gloss to the scoreline after capping off a swift counter attacking move with a finish from close range.
