WHY INTERLAGOS MATTERS
Few circuits produce drama quite like Interlagos. The 4.309km track is known for its anti-clockwise layout, elevation changes, unpredictable weather and overtaking opportunities into Turns 1 and 4. It has been the scene of numerous championship-defining moments and rarely fails to deliver excitement.
CHAMPIONSHIP PICTURE
In the Constructors' Championship, Mercedes lead with 630 points, ahead of Ferrari (504), with Red Bull and McLaren locked together on 382 and 365 points respectively.

VERSTAPPEN ARRIVES WITH MOMENTUM
Fresh from victory in Mexico, Max Verstappen will be aiming to continue his strong late-season form. The Red Bull driver has won two of the last four grands prix and remains one of the favourites at a circuit that rewards confidence under braking and aggressive racecraft.
DRIVERS TO WATCH
Lewis Hamilton (Ferrari) - Hamilton's experience around Interlagos is unmatched among the front-runners, and the seven-time world champion will be keen to strengthen Ferrari's hold on second in the constructors' standings.
Max Verstappen (Red Bull) - Coming off victory in Mexico, Verstappen has momentum and could be Mercedes' biggest threat this weekend.
WHAT TO EXPECT
With tight midfield battles, unpredictable weather forecasts traditionally associated with São Paulo, and championships still to be decided, Interlagos is perfectly placed to deliver another thrilling chapter in Formula 1 history.
Expect strategy variation, safety-car possibilities and no shortage of wheel-to-wheel action.
TYRE STRATEGY OUTLOOK
Interlagos is relatively short, meaning traffic can become a major factor, while the combination of fast corners and heavy braking zones places significant stress on the tyres.
The most likely race scenarios are:
One-stop strategy if tyre degradation remains low and teams can manage track position efficiently.
Two-stop strategy if track temperatures rise, degradation increases, or an early safety car opens a strategic window.
Interlagos has a history of producing interruptions that can dramatically alter race plans.
