Two of the newly-promoted teams in the Motsepe Foundation Championship are experiencing vastly different fortunes early in the new season as Orbit College look to maintain their perfect start, while Milford go in search of their first points.

Orbit College have made a flying start to the campaign and they'll be targeting a fourth straight win away to Upington City at the Dobsonville Stadium on Saturday.

The Rustenburg outfit have opened up a two-point gap on the chasing pack after beating Platinum City Rovers, Milford and Black Leopards in their opening three games. Bafana Ba Gucci (6th) drew 1-1 with Hungry Lions last weekend to make it two games unbeaten in the league.

Maritzburg United will attempt to keep the pressure on the league leaders when they meet Baroka at the Global Stadium on Sunday.

The Team of Choice (2nd) are two points behind Orbit College after a 2-0 victory over Casric Stars last Friday extended their undefeated start to the season. Bakgaga are at the opposite end of the spectrum, having picked up just one point from their opening three fixtures and going down 1-0 to JDR Stars most recently.

Magesi will be aiming to keep their own unbeaten record intact when they welcome Black Leopards to the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday.

Dikwena tsa Meetse (3rd) edged NB La Masia 1-0 last weekend to make it two wins from three outings, while Lidoda Duvha (15th) remain winless after slumping to a 2-0 defeat against Orbit College last time out.

Hungry Lions will target a return to winning ways when they travel to Mpumalanga to take on Casric Stars at the Solomon Mahlangu Stadium.

Ditau di a Rora (4th) registered back-to-back draws against Upington City and Marumo Gallants after opening proceedings with a 2-0 win over University of Pretoria. Stars (8th) saw their unbeaten start to the season come to an end with a 2-0 loss to Maritzburg United last Friday.

Meanwhile, JDR Stars will be hoping to build on their first win of the campaign when they do battle with Pretoria Callies at the TUT Stadium on Friday.

The Hammer Boys (5th) beat Baroka 1-0 last weekend to go three games unbeaten after playing out to successive 0-0 draws against Venda and NB La Masia first up. The Romans (11th) have also yet to taste defeat after a 0-0 draw with VFA was their third one-point haul in a row.

Elsewhere, Marumo Gallants (10th) will be eyeing their first victory of the season against rock-bottom Milford at the Isak Steyl Stadium, Venda Football Academy (13th) and Platinum City Rovers (12th) clash at the Thohoyandou Stadium, while University of Pretoria (9th) host NB La Masia (7th) at the Tuks Stadium on Sunday.
