Monaco have only won one of their six games against Juventus in European competition (D1 L4), a 3-2 triumph in April 1998. They have failed to win all four meetings (D1 L3) this century, failing to score in three of those. 

This will be the first meeting between Monaco and Juventus since the semi-finals of the 2016-17 UEFA Champions League, where the Old Lady progressed to the final after winning both legs (2-0 away and 2-1 at home).
