Pafos versus Slavia Prague will be the first ever European Cup/UEFA Champions League match played between teams from Cyprus and Czechia.

This will be the first time Pafos have faced an opponent from Czechia in European competition, while Slavia Prague have only faced a Cypriot side in one previous campaign, being eliminated by APOEL Nicosia in qualifying for the 2017-18 UEFA Champions League (lost 2-0 on aggregate over two legs).
