ZESCO United were held to a 1-1 draw by Kansanshi Dynamos in the MTN Super League on Sunday as they failed to regain top spot in the division.

ZESCO trail leaders Red Arrows by two points after eight rounds as they gave up a first-half lead against Kansanshi.

Kelvin Kampamba had them ahead on the stroke of halftime, but the home side equalised just past the hour-mark when Marvin Jere found the back of the net.

Champions Power Dynamos slipped to a surprise defeat as they went down 2-0 at Kabwe Warriors, with both goals coming in the opening 15 minutes.

Mutombo Mwamba scored the first before Ocean Mushure doubled the advantage for the home side, who move up to fourth in the table.

Dynamos lie in seventh, five points off the leaders, having suffered a second defeat of the campaign.
