There will be a full round of MTN Super League matches this weekend after an intriguing start to the season that sees just three points separate the teams in first and 10th in the table.
Power Dynamos are back on the domestic scene after their failed bid to win a place in the Caf Champions League group stages, and they will host Kansanshi Dynamos on Sunday.
Dynamos have played a game fewer than their rivals and are unbeaten after five matches with two wins but, frustratingly, three draws as well.
Only they are fellow Caf club competition competitors FC Muza have yet to lose a game this Super League season.
Dynamos are two points behind leaders Zesco United with that game in hand, with the latter to host Green Buffaloes, who have been surprisingly poor so far this campaign.
Buffaloes won both games last season but have a single victory in five this season and sit in the bottom four.
The 2021-22 champions Red Arrows are level with Zesco on 11 points despite a season devoid of many goals, where they have scored five in six games but conceded only two, the best defence in the league.
They take that record to Prison Leopards, but with only two away victories in their last 16 matches on the road, have battled for wins on their travels.
Promoted Mutondo Stars are in third place, also with 11 points, and go to Napsa Stars on Sunday where victory could take them top, depending on other results.
FC Muza continue their domestic campaign at another promoted team Trident having exited the Caf Confederation Cup. They will hope to build on a 4-0 away win at Green Eagles last time out and will expect to beat winless Trident.
Bottom side Nkana FC are the other team without a victory this season and they go to Mufulira Wanderers. The last time these teams met in the 2019-20 season, Wanderers took four points off their more illustrious opponents.
In other games this weekend, Konkola Blades host Kabwe Warriors, Nkwazi welcome Zanaco and Green Eagles host Forest Rangers.
