Defending champions Power Dynamos continued their march up the MTN Super League table with a 3-1 home win over Kansanshi Dynamos on Sunday, taking the team into fourth place.
Dynamos are two points behind leaders ZESCO United, but have a game in hand, which will be played on Wednesday when they go to Green Buffaloes.
They fell behind to Kansanshi when Marvin Jere scored for the visitors, but three second half goals from Salulani Phiri (two) and Joshua Mutale earned the champions the three points.
Green Eagles claimed a second win of the season as they beat Forest Rangers 2-1 at home to leave both sides languishing in mid-table.
All the goals came in the first half as Ivorian striker Fred Michael scored a brace for Eagles. Jackson Chirwa had profited from a defensive error to put Rangers in front.
NAPSA Stars also claimed their second win of the campaign as they edged Mutondo Stars 3-2 in a five-goal thriller.
Osmond Chita put Mutondo ahead, but Musonda Kapembwa equalised for the home team and Adams Zikiru took them into the lead.
That advantage was extended to 3-1 when Simon Nkhata got another goal, but Charlie Sichilima got a late second for the visitors to set up a nervy finish.
In the final game of the day, Nkwazi and ZANACO played to a 1-1 draw as Francis Moustapha put the visitors ahead and Peter Mwaangani equalised for the home side.
