Power Dynamos will be crowned champions of the MTN Super League this weekend if they get a point in their away clash at Forest Rangers on Saturday, a first title for the club since 2011.

Should Dynamos lose, they will still be champions if FC MUZA don’t win away at relegation threatened Nkwazi on Sunday. Dynamos have 59 points from their 31 games to date and the only side that can match that total is MUZA.

It looks a done deal whatever happens this weekend, with the real storyline in the remainder of the season around who can finish in the CAF club qualification place and avoid relegation.

NAPSA Stars are currently in second place with 49 points, but there are just three points between them and Green Eagles in seventh. In fact, with three rounds remaining, even defending champions Red Arrows remain in contention as they sit four points back.

Stars are at mid-table Nkana FC hopeful of another three points to keep them on track for Confederation Cup football in 2023-24.

Green Buffaloes are hot on their heels but have had a dip in form of late and nothing will be assured when they host Kabwe Warriors, who need one more win to be sure of survival from relegation.

Forest Rangers are in fourth and have their meeting with Power Dynamos, while FZ MUZA occupy fifth, but victory in their clash with Nkwazi could see them leap to second.

A burst of wins in recent weeks has put ZESCO United back in contention for second place and they travel to Nchanga Rangers, who are one place, and one point, above the relegation zone. It will be a huge match for both teams.

Green Eagles sit on 46 points as they go to mid-table Prison Leopards, while Red Arrows host Lumwana Radiants, who are four points from safety and could be relegated without a win.

Chambishi are the other side in real danger, seven points from safety with nine available. They host Kansanshi Dynamos, who are safely in mid-table.

Zanaco should secure their survival with a win over hapless bottom side Buildcon, who have long been relegated with only two wins from their 31 games to date.
