Green Buffaloes moved to within four points of leaders Power Dynamos following a 2-1 home win over Lumwana Radiants in the MTN Super League on Saturday.

Dynamos are not in action until Sunday and have a game in hand, but Buffaloes are at least keeping the pressure on the team at the summit as they continue top pick up wins.

Moonga Chilimba scored a brace for them, one in the first minute and the other late on, with Douglas Sliavwe scoring in between for relegation threatened Radiants.

The fixture between Kansanshi Dynamos and ZESCO United was abandoned in the first half after heavy rains made the pitch unplayable. Dynamos were leading 1-0 at the time thanks to a Baba Basile goal, but the game will be replayed on Sunday.

Defending champions Red Arrows were held to a 2-2 draw by Nchanga Rangers as they twice gave up a lead in the game.

Yusuf Saddam scored the opener for Arrows, only for Angel Lubamba to equalise for the home side. Ricky Banda had Arrows back in front, but Rangers equalised late on as the visitors again failed to hold on to their lead.

Nkana FC played to a 1-1 draw with Prison Leopards as David Kabala gave them the lead, only for a Derrick Mukombozi own goal to secure the point for the visitors.

NAPSA Stars came away with a good 1-0 victory at Kabwe Warriors thanks to Jimmy Mukeya’s own goal, while Green Eagles won 2-1 at Zanaco.

Charles Zulu had given the home side the lead, but Amity Shamende equalised and then steered a penalty into the net deep into injury-time to claim the win for Eagles.

In a battle at the basement, Justin Shonga scored the only goal as Nkwazi claimed a 1-0 success against Chambishi.
