Red Arrows moved to within a point of MTN Super League leaders ZESCO United following a thumping 4-1 victory over FC MUZA on Saturday, boosted by a hat-trick from Yusuf Saddam.

Paul Katema gave Arrows the lead inside 15 minutes, before Saddam got his first.

Andrew Phiri pulled one back for MUZA to make the score 2-1, but two further goals from Saddam sealed the win for Arrows.

They are now a point behind ZESCO but have played a game more.

Champions Power Dynamos climbed to third, four points back, after they secured a comprehensive 3-0 success against Nkwazi FC.

The visitors profited from goals by Andy Boyeli and Austin Muwowo, to go with an unfortunate own goal from their hosts.

It has not been a great season so far for Dynamos, but they have worked their way to within striking distance of the leaders.

Nkana FC claimed a vital win in their bid to move out of the relegation zone as they claimed a 2-1 home success against Mutondo Stars.

Eric Yema put Nkana ahead, but they were pegged back to 1-1 when Chisha Kampamba equalised for Stars.

The home side were not to be denied though and a late goal from Kedrick Mumba sealed the three points.

They are now two points from safety, but have played a game more than their rivals.

Musonda Kapembwa and Pinoki Vuvu scored for NAPSA Stars as they played to a 2-1 victory over Green Buffaloes.

John Kosamu netted the consolation for the visitors.

Moses Menda netted the only goal of the game as Konkola Blades won 1-0 at Green Eagles, and Forest Rangers and ZANACO played to a 1-1 draw.

Eric Chomba netted the opener for Rangers, but Chawanangwa Kaonga equalised for the away side.
