Red Arrows face a tricky away trip to Nkwazi in the MTN Super League on Saturday as they look to consolidate their three-point lead at the top of the table and keep the chasing pack at bay.

Arrows hold a three-point advantage on second-placed Zesco United, with defending champions Power Dynamos a further two points back. It is developing into a three-horse race for the title between the trio, and dropped points now could be crucial.

Arrows have won seven of their last eight games (D1), the only blemish a 0-0 home draw with Mufulira Wanderers, while they have not lost away since going down 1-0 to Zesco in November. They won this reverse fixture in October 4-0.

Zesco are not in action until Sunday and could be six points adrift by then as they welcome Kansanshi Dynamos. Zesco have been hurt by three draws in a row recently but returned to winning ways with a victory at Green Buffaloes last time out.

Dynamos have lost three of their last four games (D1) and sit third bottom in the relegation zone.

Power Dynamos are at home to Kabwe Warriors, who lie in sixth after a recent slump, but remain a tough opponent.

Dynamos have lost only one of their previous 16 games (W8 D7) and need to keep winning if they are to keep the heat on the top two.

Nkana FC have taken 10 points from the last 12 available and could rise to as high as ninth in the table having spent almost the entire campaign in the relegation zone.

They are at Napsa Stars, who have slipped into the bottom four and not beaten Nkana since 2015, a run of 14 league games (D5 L9).

Other matches on Saturday see Konkola Blades welcome Zanaco, Prison Leopards entertain Mutondo Stars, Green Buffaloes go to Green Eagles, Trident host Forest Rangers and FC Muza travel to Mufulira Wanderers.
